Goal Setting

LACs help residents set realistic goals for themselves and provide guidance on how to achieve them. These goals could range from finding employment to improving mental health or accessing education.

Why the contribution is important

A lot of people feel lost / scared to take action following the pandemic.

    This could come across as a bit condescending to some people, a lot of people have the skills already they need the opportunities, the council needs to invest more in local schemes to provide more jobs for people.

    I think some people do need a bit of guidance though, as they may not have got any at a younger age
